Overall Responsibilities
Configuration Management
Creation and manage the SCM (Software Configuration Management) versions tool
Work closely with the project teams and related stakeholders on resolving the SCM related issues on time with out any escalation
Perform the configuration management audit and work on to close any action items raised
Get involved in introducing the new tools for the team based on the project requirements
Perform the proof of concept on migrating the configuration management tools
Create and maintain the Software Configuration Management plan including the process and procedure
Analyze the gaps on the configuration management space such as the process & procedure and come up with the new recommendation

Build Responsibilities
Identify and develop to build the application in an automated process using the continues integration
Ability to co-ordinate with different development teams to resolve the build related issues and help them to deliver the release on time
Ability to mavenize applications such as JAVA, C++, COBOL, Database, .NET projects
Work with the deployment management team in resolving the deployment related issues and come up with the new ideas that will benefit the team

Automation
Creation of web pages for the continuous integration automation and enhancing it based on the project requirements
Ability to automate the manual process on the configuration management using the scripting languages

Qualifications
Technical Skills:
5+ yrs of experience with the strong knowledge on the Configuration management tools such as Subversion, Jenkins, JIRA, Sonar, Stash Git, Nexus and ARM
SCM experience including the automation work on creating different web portal using the scripting language such as java scripting, python, perl, shell, groovy, deployment scripting such as maven and Microsoft SQL
Additional knowledge on Clearcase or any other configuration management tools will be the added advantage
