Job Description: 
Overall having 6+ years of experience in IT, this position is for Subversion administrator on the Software Configuration Management (SCM). The candidate will specifically work to manage and administer Subversion repositories. Given the wide range of applications supported by MAXIM, the candidate will be responsible for Subversion administration, merges, branch creation and user support, create and maintain Subversion hooks and scripts for notifications and automation. Standardize software development processes. Import pre-existing source code from other CM tools. The candidate will work with Senior Source Code (SVN) Administrator managing the implementation and maintenance of this tool, and all associated tasks, including coordination of creating of new branches and work streams, code merging from one release to next release, build-coordination, and migration to test and production environments and is expected to work closely with all the development teams and suggest best practices of Subversion. Preferably in a multi-site development environment. The candidate must have a thorough understanding of the SCM process and best practices.

Skills:
Minimum of 4 years of experience with Subversion server administration on Linux and Software Configuration Management (SCM)
Administer Wandisco multisite SVN implementation
Creation of Subversion repository Migration of ... from CVS to SVN and SVN to SVN Exposure of Subversion upgrades on Linux platforms.
Development background is preferred
Expertise in integrating SVN with other Tools like Jira and HP Quality Center
Setup of pre and post commit hook scripts for SVN repository.
Should be able to co-ordinate with Functional, DBA, Developers in build, Migration and release.
Nice to have HP QC Administration, workflow and APIs.
Understanding of SQL databases and SQL queries for reporting
Knowledge on Build deployment tools is an added advantage.
Develops scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms
Extremely productive and self-motivated 
Experience in production support environment and understanding of ITIL processes.
